Motion capture is not entirely new, but it’s one of the newer forms of animation. Used in Lord of the rings, Star Wars and other major blockbusters and now available to mainstream users thanks to after effects and the advancement of that technology, motion capture adds the human element of facial expressions acted out and translated onto an animated face.
The sequence animation is animation that evolves or changes as it progresses. In this example shapes are shifting along with color to give us a sequence that is impressive and fun to look at! These are used in many title screens for movies, and in commercials.
Blending scenes in animations to transition is another advanced motion method. It works much like a sequence, but it blends scenes together instead of an evolving single animation. blending can merge two totally different animations in a way that seems progressive. This is also used a lot in film and TV.
I made a logo reveal, but also the background is an infinite scroll background as a UI animation. This animation would be used on a website as in intro video that can transform into an infinite scroll background without the logo in the middle giving real estate for content.
